Kim Schwichtenberg began her career in the tax department of an international accounting firm in 1978. She joined MTK where she worked for four years before taking a supervisory position with Honeywell. She missed the unique challenges and opportunities of public accounting and rejoined MTK in 1984 and has spent over 25 years with the organization.
Kim enjoys working with a variety of clients, but her primary focus is high net worth individuals, executives of large corporations and business owners. She collaborates with the client’s attorneys, investment advisors and other professionals to create a comprehensive financial plan that integrates all aspects of the client’s financial life.
Kim is in the unique position of managing a large tax practice within MTK and also acting as Chief Manager of its affiliated financial planning and wealth management company, SilverOak Wealth Management LLC, formed in 1999.

Kim is married and has two adult children. She and her husband enjoy international travel, spending time with family at their cabin in Wisconsin, golfing and antique shopping.
